Back in July of 2002, I traveled to England and met Alex Watts (of the Pants Optional blog) for the first time. What followed was a lasting friendship. While Alex has visited the states on multiple occasions, this is the first time in over a decade that I will leave the comfy United States and return to hang out for two weeks of unbridled fun. The Region 2 Diaries is going to be a daily account of this trip in hopes of encapsulating memories to last until 2022, when I am next expected to fly out there.
